Ischia revamps its historic port: a new promenade and flood protection project begins

To mark the 170th anniversary of its Bourbon port, Ischia has launched an ambitious redevelopment of the Right Bank. Spearheaded by Piloda Group’s Building Division, the project will enhance tourism appeal while tackling persistent flooding issues. A scenic promenade will connect the harbor to San Pietro Beach, with completion expected by 2025.

The project involved a full overhaul of the propulsion and maneuvering systems, as well as the renewal of both internal and external structures. The meticulous planning and coordination between various teams ensured the work was completed on time and within budget.
