Piloda Group strengthens industrial growth through new investments, contracts and management
Naples – Piloda Group is entering a new phase of industrial development, strengthening its position across the naval, defence and advanced industrial services sectors. Through Piloda Shipyard, the Group is expanding its production capabilities, investing in infrastructure and specialist expertise, and consolidating its management structure. The growth is supported by new Defence contracts worth approximately €160 million and an increasingly significant pipeline of institutional programmes.
A key step in this strategy is the appointment of Alfredo Postiglione Coppola as General Manager of Piloda Shipyard. With extensive experience in aerospace and complex industrial programmes, including procurement, supply chain, programme management and operations, he will support the Shipyard as it scales its organisation and strengthens the management of increasingly complex naval and defence projects.
At the same time, Piloda Group continues to invest in its industrial network. Recent developments include the expansion of the Torre Annunziata facility with a new painting booth and Final Assembly Line, a dedicated service for marine engine repair and maintenance, and the introduction of a 350-tonne Travel Lift in Brindisi. These investments complement major Coast Guard programmes such as PD15 and PD21, including the development of new Search & Rescue vessels designed for demanding operational environments.
