Piloda Group, an Italian holding company active in construction, shipbuilding, and real estate development, is seeking a Public Works Cost Control Engineer / Quantity Surveyor to join the technical team of Piloda Building in Afragola.
The selected candidate will support the Technical Department in managing public works project accounting, including progress payment certificates (SAL), measurement books, accounting registers, cost monitoring, and project cost control.
The role will focus on projects in urban regeneration, residential construction, and public works, collaborating closely with contracting authorities, subcontractors, and the site technical team.
The Role
The Public Works Cost Control Engineer / Quantity Surveyor will have operational and administrative responsibilities on-site, ensuring accurate accounting management of public works contracts and cost verification against bills of quantities and work progress.
The role requires precision, analytical skills, knowledge of public works accounting, and the ability to coordinate with the Technical Department and site team.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation and updating of measurement books
Management of the accounting register
Preparation of progress payment certificates (SAL) for contracting authorities
Verification and management of subcontractor payments
Control of bills of quantities and monitoring of work progress
Support in financial and administrative control of projects
Collection and organization of technical and accounting documentation on-site
Profile
Diploma in Surveying or Degree in Architecture / Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in public works accounting within construction companies or technical offices
Strong knowledge of PriMus, Excel, and public works accounting procedures
Ability to read executive projects and bills of quantities
Knowledge of public procurement regulations (preferred)
