Palazzo Carafa / Maddaloni (CE)

Built between 1580 and 1585 by the Marquis of Vasto, Cesare d'Avalos, Palazzo Carafa di Maddaloni is a true masterpiece of the Baroque period. The Piloda Building restoration division has breathed new life into this historic treasure through a material restoration of the façades and a high-quality pictorial intervention, achieving a result of extraordinary beauty.

Unveiling the hidden paintings in the noble apartment of the palace was a unique experience—a journey through time, rediscovering the brushstrokes of Fedele Fischetti, the master behind the stunning frescoes on the vault. Every stroke, every meticulously studied detail, was an act of devotion and love for our cultural heritage.

One of the most emotional moments of the restoration was bringing back the magnificence of Fanzago’s grand portal, now once again shining in all its majesty and elegance.

This restoration is not just about technique—it is about passion, respect, and the enhancement of our history.
