Pontoon Tenax (70ton)
The "TENAX" pontoon wreck, a 70-ton vessel, ran aground about 50 meters from Marimisti beach while being towed for demolition. In 2022, removal began, involving careful demolition and disposal after thorough material characterization.
The process had two phases: the emerged section was removed with flame cutting and crane support, while divers handled underwater cuts and concrete slab demolition for the submerged part. Three temporary hauling lines were used to lift the hull pieces. This complex operation was essential for restoring safety and functionality to the port area.
