M/V Marco Polo 1
Marco Polo 1, part of the ACTV S.p.a. fleet and operating in the Venetian Lagoon, has successfully completed sea trials following a major refit. The 57.56-meter ferry underwent extensive upgrades aimed at improving efficiency, reliability and onboard performance.
The refit included repowering, structural modifications, electrical system upgrades and new automation, with all onboard systems and equipment thoroughly tested during sea trials to verify compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
The entire programme was managed by the Piloda Shipyard team in Brindisi, which oversaw every phase of the refit and testing process, ensuring high standards of quality, precision and operational performance.
