M/V Green Lipari
M/V Green Lipari, a 71.86-meter Ro-Ro cargo ship, has completed a major technical refit at Piloda Shipyard’s Naples facility, restoring the full efficiency and reliability of its bow thruster system.
The intervention included removal of the bow thruster propeller, complete overhaul of internal components, replacement of damaged bearings and seals, reassembly, alignment and full-load functional testing. The works addressed seawater ingress that had compromised the system’s bearings and reduced operational efficiency.
Thanks to the expertise of the Piloda Shipyard technical team and the use of specialised lifting and diagnostic equipment, the vessel’s maneuverability was restored quickly and effectively, ensuring a rapid return to full operational service.
